Participant Matching for Events
Create an event, define your categories, share one link. Participants introduce themselves and find each other. You just watch it happen.
One link. No app download. No permanent profiles. Free.
Built for events where the right partner decides everything
How it works
You provide the structure. Participants do the partnering themselves.
Name it, pick the categories that matter (Base and Flyer, Leader and Follower, or your own), and add the questions participants should answer. Two minutes, no card.
You get a single link and a QR code for this event. Drop it in your WhatsApp group, your confirmation mail, or on a poster at the door.
People open the link in their browser, say what they are and what they are looking for, and see who fits. One request, one yes, and they have each other's contact.
Where it is used
Acro festivals
Bases and Flyers of matching level, sorted before the first jam.
Dance events
Leaders and Followers balanced across the whole weekend.
Workshops
Practice partners for a technique block, chosen by the group itself.
Competitions
Teams that still need one person in a specific role.
Tournaments
Doubles pairings arranged by the players, not by the desk.
Retreats
Room shares, buddy systems and practice pairs for a full week.
Hackathons
Builders, designers and domain experts forming teams before day one.
Community events
Language tandems, running partners, mentoring pairs.
Clear boundaries
Participants share their details because the edges are obvious. Keeping them narrow is a product decision, not a policy page.
Not a dating app
Participants pair up for an activity at one event. The categories are roles, not preferences.
Not a social network
No feed, no followers, no public directory of people.
Not an app download
The event link opens in the browser participants already have.
Not a permanent account
A profile belongs to one event and is deleted after the window you choose.
Not event management software
No ticketing, no schedules, no invoices. One job, done properly.
Questions
You share one event link. Participants open it, pick their category such as Base, Flyer, Leader or Follower, answer the questions you defined, and immediately see the people who fit. They send one request, and contact details are exchanged only when both sides agree.
No. The event link opens in any browser. There is no app store step and no password. A participant profile exists inside your event only and is deleted after the retention window you choose.
They can choose notify me instead. They leave an email address and what they are looking for, without creating a profile. When a matching participant joins, they get one email.
Yes. Base and Flyer, Leader and Follower, mentor and mentee, or anything specific to your event such as role, level, availability or team size. You decide which categories can pair with which.
No. Pairspace is participant matching for events. People pair up for an activity such as an acro jam, a dance workshop or a hackathon team. There are no dating features, no swiping and no public profiles.
Creating an event and sharing the link is free. You only sign in at the end of the setup, with Google or Apple, so your event link stays in your account and you can come back to it.
Contact details are never visible to other participants. Each person decides whether to leave an email address, a WhatsApp number, or nothing at all and just check the link. Profiles are scoped to a single event, never indexed by search engines, and deleted automatically once the retention window closes.
Yes. The organizer dashboard shows live counts of participants, how many are still open, how many connections were made and the balance between your categories, so you can act while there is still time.
Help shape Pairspace
Pairspace is built by one person, and it gets better with every organizer who talks back. Something confusing? Something missing? Write me on X.

Already on my list. Want one of these? Say so and I will build it sooner.
Permanent profiles
Keep one participant profile and reuse it across events instead of filling the form again.
Recurring events
One link for your weekly class or monthly jam that resets itself for every edition.
Your own branding
Your logo and colors on the event page, so the link feels like part of your event.
Have a different request? I am happy to implement it. And if you have not yet, create your event first, it is free.
Come in pairs
Sea otters hold paws so they never drift apart. Your event deserves the same.
Free. Sign in with Google or Apple at the end to keep your link.
